Day 1 – Kilkenny to Cork

The tour begins in the southeast. We can arrange for you to stay in the medieval town of Kilkenny and enjoy a tour of its Historic Castle, have lunch in the renowned Design Centre, take a journey through its cobbled stoned streets, with its traditional styled shop fronts and bars or alternatively we can arrange for you to stay in the historic seaside town of Ardmore with its 5 star cliff Hotel with its Michelin star restaurant.

The choice is endless whether its a game of golf you would like to incorporate into your day or an afternoon in a variety of luxury Spa resorts, we can arrange every last detail. Whichever option you choose a trip Youghal where the 1956 Movie, “Moby dick” Starring Gregory Peck was filmed will be included.

It too will take you back in time with its traditional old Irish shop fronts and its gorgeous antique shops and art galleries. If were lucky enough to visit on a Sunday we can also enjoy the Farmers market which it organic vegetables, chutneys, Jams ,scones, breads, cakes, cheeses, not to mention the art work, books and jewellery.

Our journey will take us on to Cork city and its 5 star Hayfield Manor Hotel or to Kinsale, which is on the coast a boasts a variety of award winning restaurants.

Day 2 – Cork to Kenmare

After a ‘Full Irish breakfast’, we leave Cork for The Dingle Peninsula, where the 1970 film ‘Ryan’s Daughter‘ was filmed.

The film is set in 1916 and tells the story of a married Irish woman who has an affair with a British officer. It stared Robert Mitchum and Sarah Miles.

On route we will visit the beautiful tiny lake at Gouganne Barra, source of the river Lee and the ancient church of saint Finbar, Cork’s Patron Saint. Onwards to the beautiful sub tropical inlet of Glengarriff in Bantry Bay. We will also tour the ring of Beara before arriving in Kenmare with its choice of 5 star hotels, Famous Golf courses, Luxury spas and Gourmet cuisine.

Day 3 – Kenmare to Killarney

After an evening of luxury, leave either sheen falls, the Park hotel or Parknasilla and tour the famous ring of Kerry.

After taking in the breath taking sights we continue to Killarney for lunch. Killarney is a truly beautiful town full of first class restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries, Craft shops but to mention a few.

Motion Picture – Private Chauffeur Tours IrelandAfter lunch we travel to the Dingle Peninsula which was the area that Ryan’s Daughter was filmed and thereafter depending on you, we can return to Killarney for the evening and overnight in one of a variety of 5 star Hotels, from the Europa to the Aghadoe Heights Hotel, from internationally renowned golf Courses to award winning Spas, the choice is yours. We can also arrange for you to go horse riding or take in some salmon fishing, whatever we arrange for you, we know you won’t be disappointed.

Day 4 – Killarney to Galway

We leave Killarney and travel to Cong, the setting for the The Quiet Man, starring John Wayne and Maureen o’Hara.

Many scenes were shot in and around the village of Cong, county Mayo on the grounds of Ashford Castle, which is now a five star hotel.

Motion Picture – Private Chauffeur Tours IrelandWe will stay overnight in Ashford castle and after a full Irish breakfast we travel on to Connemara and take in all the sights the west of Ireland has to offer. There are many options as to what the group can choose to do.

We can travel to Galway City and take in all the atmosphere. It has so much to offer from its tradition Pubs, which always have a sing song with traditional Irish music, its award winning restaurants and Hotels, the choice is endless. The City is just bursting at the seams with thing to do.
